Hi, what does get send when I use this function?
Do you use hashes or something similar or do you send names of episodes and feeds?

It send complete feed url and file name, in JSON format, but all over SSL...

Yes, in order to allow adding of remote episodes we need to send some information about the feed (feed url) and episode (episode url) and in some cases an abbreviated version of the episode description (this allows us to add an episode to the remote devices even if the local feed has not been updated yet).

As tech_engineer pointed all communication occurs over SSL. We collect the the synchronization records from each device on our servers and keep them for about 30 days. (30 days is the maximum period for which we consider changes "published" by a device as "still active" so other devices can get them).
