I've got a Verizon Galaxy Note 2. Beyondpod purchased from googeplay with the key installed from googleplay as well. App is updated to latest version available.
I can chromecast from other apps, but not from BeyondPod. I do not see a chromecast button in the app, whether the podcast is downloaded or streaming. I've made sure I'm connected to the same network, as I mentioned I can chromecast from other apps. I've never seen the chromecast in icon in Beyondpod. I've tried removing and readding the app. I've restarted multiple times.

Any thoughts?

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Did you download the app from the Google Play Store or the Amazon app store (or somewhere else)?
And do you have the paid version? Chromecast is a paid feature (see What is the difference between Lite and Full Feature (Pro) versions? (http://www.beyondpod.com/cms/index.php/what-is-the-difference-between-lite-and-full-feature-pro-versions))

Yes Both the App and the key we obtained and purchased through googleplay.

Very odd. The only thing we can think of is to check whether you have the latest version of Google Play Services, which is what handles all the Chromecast work. You can check this in Device Settings > Installed Apps (mine is 7.3.29).

Also, try rebooting both the device AND the ChromeCast. Yes, we're clutching at straws, but sometimes those straws work.

I have the same version of Google Play Services (7.3.29). As mentioned I'm able to chromecast with other apps on the device (Plex, YouTube, ETC).
Restarting the phone and the chrome device didn't make a difference.

BTW I'm also running Beyondpod 4.1.27.

Is it possible I set some sort of setting in Beyondpod that would affect Chromecast? (Like stream only on wifi, etc?)

I wish we could think of anything. BP basically hands over playback to the ChromeCast itself, and Android then just updates BP periodically to let it know how far the playback has got. But that's long after BP decides to show (or not show) a ChromeCast icon.

Would you mind just posting a screenshot of your "About" screen (Settings | About BeyondPod)

Your YouTube screenshot show that it's connecting to Rokus, not ChromeCasts. They're not the same thing.
