View Full Version : A Note on How to Handle a Change in Ownership

I know we've all been concerned about the difficulties with .19 and the slow response from the new owners. Thankfully, we are seeing some movement with .21.

Ownership transitions are tricky. It's difficult to keep users informed while also making all the operational changes required.

I just thought I'd point to an example of one transition that appears to be starting off well: The new developer for Tasker.

Joao, the new developer, has already been an active and generous member of the Tasker user community. The hand-off appears to have been well-planned and well-communicated in a way that makes the long-time users feel they'll continue to be a part of the process.

I do not want to "throw shade" at the new BeyondPod devs. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. I simply want to point to a useful and engaging transition model.
