Podcast RSS feed download not recognized

I'm trying to subscribe to this RSS feed for the Filmspotting: SVU podcast:

    http://filmspotting.net/reviews/film....feed?type=rss

But BeyondPod doesn't recognize the download links in the feed entries and doesn't present a download button. Is this an issue with the feed, with BeyondPod or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help.

    Which version of BP?
I'm using the latest beta (3.0.2), am able to subscribe with that link,
and the links in the feed take me to Netflix.

The issue is there are no podcasts in that feed. For an rss feed reader to recognize a podcast the media link should be in the <enclosure> tag. In this case there are no enclosures whatsoever.

If you look at the feed in a browser that can render the XML (such as IE on a PC) you'll see they have links and even an image 'button' that says podcasts but again they are not there in the true sense of the word.

It's possible they have another feed that actually does have podcasts, but this one does not.

It's a podcast (RSS feed) of links to content discussed in the program, not the program itself.

Thanks for the replies. So in order for a feed to properly call out podcast file links, the link has to be in the enclosure tag? And in this case, the podcast file is just an HTML link which isn't recognized by BeyondPod?

That's true, but there's also a link to the podcast itself.

    Lightbulb Filmspotting podcast

The Filmspotting website only links to an iTunes podcast of the show as far as I can tell.
To subscribe in BeyondPod, try this link instead: http://feeds.feedburner.com/cinecast
    Hope that helps,

I know this thread is ultra-old, but I was having the same problem as the OP. I can't get BeyondPod to find Filmspotting: SVU by searching (it just gets the non-mp3 RSS feed), so you need to use the URL http://feeds.feedburner.com/filmspottingsvu (it's posted on their webpage).
