Pause on Notifications

Current using Beyondpod version 3.1.51

Samsung Galaxy S4 Jelly Bean 4.3

While listening to podcasts everytime an email arrives the podcast pauses, the email tone sounds then the podcast continues. I have the setting "Pause on Notification" unticked, see below screenshot

Is this a known issue?

Are you sure that it's pausing, and not playing the notification over the top of the podcast? BeyondPod can't prevent notifications from making a noise, it can only pause or not pause while they're happening.

Try setting the notification tone to something several seconds long to check.

Your right, it's playing the notification over the top.

For a future request / update could BeyondPod disable notifications while podcasts are playing?

I'm not sure apps are allowed to interfere with each others' notifications.
