    Manually Import Podcast Episodes

I'm a refugee from iOS who just got a Galaxy S5 and am making the switch. I have one podcast that won't update on BeyondPod and it has episodes I like to save and listen to repeatedly. I'm assuming I could import these from iTunes as songs to a music player, but life would be much simpler for me if I could have them in a podcast player (like I'm used to). Is there a way to manually import them?

(And the podcast does seem to be still active as it has an episode from last month--not sure why BeyondPod can't update it or show old episodes that show up in iTunes.)

    Thanks, Jon

Which podcast is it, so we can diagnose the issue?

Thanks for the response. Here's the title:

@Jon44 Could you please supply the iTunes URL for it, so it can be added to the BeyondPod directory.

In the meantime, if the publisher has a web page, they may put the RSS feed for the podcast on there. If so, you can click on it in the browser on your phone, and Android will offer BeyondPod as one of the applications that can open it (in this case, to add the feed).

Finally, if they don't have a webpage, or an RSS link on it, you can find info in the BeyondPod help pages on how to add a folder containing audio (or video) files as a Virtual Feed.

Thanks Julie, the "Virtual Feed" maneuver is what I was thinking of.

It would still be helpful to have the iTunes URL so you can get it for real though

    Julie:

I appreciate the offer. Here's the iTunes URL that comes up: http://tami4497.podbean.com/feed/ Looking at it again, I see most episodes were from 2011, and then there's a smattering since then (with latest dated 3/14/2014). (So maybe its lack of regularity is why it doesn't show up.)
