Yet another account? Why not let us use Google account?

We all have way too many accounts, and typing passwords on my phone is particularly painful.

Why does this sync feature need a new BeyondPod account? All you need to is to ID the user I think?

I'm not suggesting getting rid of the current method of creating a new account - I guess maybe you need that for other app stores, or other use cases - but plz also give us the easy option!

I'd never use it if i had to link stuff to my Google or Facebook accounts. Extra account is fine with me.

I am not opposed to the option, though. Still, that's more work for the developers. Here's mailchimp's take on the topic. It will depend on user base, obviously.

It's on the ToDo list. Just not very high on it for the moment.

I would think that using the Google backup space instead of (presumably not free) BP servers would be a benefit.

I think there were technical reasons for a separate sync account.
