Forward/backward skip with Chromecast?

I know that the playback under Chromecast isn't controlled by Beyondpod, but does anyone know if there's a way to easily skip forward and backwards? The whole scrub bar is less than a cm wide, even on landscape on a 5" device.

I'm not sure what you're doing, or what version of BeyondPod you're using, but I've just checked it with a video podcast, and regardless of the Play Videos as Audio setting, this is what I see, including << and >> buttons to skip backwards and forwards

Also, the progress bar takes the full width of the screen minus the duration and time left to play on the ends of it. I can't think why you should have a 1cm progress bar at all.
