    Feed update issues

So, for about a month 2 or 3 of my podcasts seem to have been updating fine but all new episodes cone on marked as played already. I've removed and re-added the feed but nothing seems to make it work as it does for the rest of the podcasts.

Please help, it's starting to make me want to look for another app.

I have the same issue with http://roosterteeth.com/show/rt-podcast/feed/mp3

That used to be synced with feedly, I got the "all new marked as played" after I disconnected it.

So I deleted the feed and re-added it, same deal.

It shows in bold in the Navigation Drawer in the left after updating to get new episodes (which normally indicates new episodes), but then I click on it and there are no unplayed episodes.

    Quite frustrating.

    Interesting...
The RT podcast is the only of the RoosterTeeth family of podcasts that works properly for me still! Always Open, Dude Soup, The Patch and Off Topic are the ones that are marking themselves read for me.

I've looked in there RSS feed but can't seem to find ANYTHING out of the ordinary in the code (but I'm no expert) what is the deal with RoosterTeeth rss feeds?

I would guess that when the feed is deleted beyondpod is holding it's settings somewhere and there is something wrong with them.

also, clearing the download history hasn't worked for me either (clear history, all now show as unplayed, set all as played, the new one still comes in as unplayed), I've been experimenting with this for a while.

Are the affected feeds still synced with Feedly?

My feeds are not and have never been synced with feedly. Though I might look into doing so if it could possibly solve this issue...

In the feed settings, what values do you have for the two fields in Episode Downloads, and in the two fields in Episode Cleanup?
Also, what setting do you have in Duplicate Episode detection in the Advanced Settings for the feed?

Episode Downloads are set to download episodes in order and to download 5 episodes but I can't find an episode cleanup section anywhere, although I remember setting something to keep for up to 99999 days before. Duplicate Episode Detection is set to Use Post GUID.

We seem to be duplicating questions and answer across two threads here (the other one being http://www.beyondpod.com/forum/showt...en-downloading). Let's stick to this one.

    So, from that thread:
Episode is immediately below Episode Downloads, but doesn't appear if you have Episode Downloads set to Manually Download, as they're rules for automatically deleting old episodes when you do automatic updates.

What happens if you set Episode Downloads to be Download Latest Episodes, with Quantity set to 1? (Episode cleanup should default to some moderately large numbers, which is good for testing purposes.)
