No feed update icon in android

Greetings

I have BeyondPod 4.2.16 on android 6.0.1, and I am it seeing any notifications that feeds have been updated. I need to open the app to check for new podcast episodes.

I had a look in the settings and advanced settings, can't see this as an option.

Any ideas?

Do you have "Hide Notification Icon" option checked? This can be found under "Settings" >> "Feed Update Settings". If you have that checked, it will hide notifications after updates.
