Can I provide any technical info to fix the problem?
    Hello,

The fix for this problem is still being worked on and was not implemented in the beta v4.2.34 version. Hopefully this will be ready for the next release.

Update: this issue is still present in 4.2.35. Is there a planned release in which this problem will be fixed?

Unfortunately, I do not know which release this is planned for yet.

Update: this issue is still present in 4.2.37. What information can I provide to help get this bug fixed? As I mentioned in another thread, the affected feeds show up incorrectly in the all episodes list, but show up correctly in the individual feed lists when the filtering is set to all published.

A fix for this bug was not included in 4.2.37. Developers are still working on fixing this bug.

This bug is still present in 4.2.40. Is there any update on when this will be fixed?

I provoked this bug once, in a big way.

During a feed update with the progress window open, BP got wedged. I was away from the phone and the screen turned off. When I woke it up, BP was showing a totally black screen with a Back arrow. I don't recall what I had to do to get it's attention again.

Once BP was working again, it was clear that it had finished with all the feed updates and all the downloads, but hadn't finished updating all the information about the downloaded episodes. Several issues were visible:

    - In My Episodes the newly downloaded episodes' titles were showing the file names, not the actual titles. But All Published showed the right titles.
    - The affected episodes reported "this episode can't be played remotely" when I tried to Cast them.
    - The episode counting and sorting during subsequent updates acted as though those episodes' dates were the date of the downloads, not the published dates.
    - The same sorting behavior made the playlist update behave incorrectly.

Eventually I found all the affected episodes. Deleting them and re-adding to My Episodes cleared up the issues, and subsequently downloading them worked as expected.

So far, this was a one-time issue (with 4.2.38, IIRC).

I do not have an update on when this plan to be fixed yet. Development was working on bugs that were more priority for the 4.2.40 release. Once I have word of when this is expected to be fixed, I will let you know.
