Widget doesn't update

The home screen widget doesn't update when there are new podcasts in the playlist.
This has been the case for quite a while (moths) now.

I have the same problem on my Pixel 2 XL and a Samsung A5 2017.

Hello Ake,

There are a couple of known issues with the Widgets as of recently. Development is currently working on fixes including fixes for the widgets.
