App notification becomes empty and gets wrong icon when playback is paused/stopped

    Pixel 3a, Android 10, BeyondPod 4.3.8

    To repro:

    • Play music as normal. The notification content and icon are correct
    • Pause playback. Notifiction icon and content still correct
    • Lock the phone, then unlock
    • Now the icon is generic (no longer the "paused" icon) and the notification is oddly empty

The same issue happens when playback finishes, or when the app starts and nothing is playing yet.

Here's the correct "paused" icon (before locking the phone):

Please send your logs for development to take a look at your data for any clues:
To send log files, go to BP Settings>> Menu Overflow (3 dot icon in the top right corner) >> View Logs >> Choose the logs "Android" and "BeyondPod" (these steps will need to be taken for each log separately) >> Menu overflow >> Email.

Please make sure to include a brief description of your issue with each log so development knows what report to match your logs to.

Done, though I don't see anything useful in there. I'm also noticing that I have to force close the app to make the empty notification go away.

I don't use BP to play podcasts anymore, but even in RSS mode there is a constant "blank" notification from BP when the app starts. It usually background kills within a few minutes for what it's worth.
