I have a number of feeds that are only accessible on certain networks and when I do "update all" I am forced to wait for all of them to time out, since the only option on the "updating feeds" page is to cancel update and download. This problem has gotten even more acute lately because for some reason the feed for Podcast.__init__ now seems to go into some sort of infinite loop and it's constantly retrying. This means that my "update all" just hangs retrying Podcast.__init__ for all time. A little "x" would at least allow me to skip that one for later.
