I'm finding that with app notifications and badges turned on, the app is causing notifications when I start playing or try to skip.

This in turn will cause the lockscreen and notification bar controls to disappear entirely. If I then go back into the app, an orange badge will appear in the notification bar. I can only get the player controls, and player badge icon, to come back by pausing then resuming the podcast.

Is there a way you can send a video showing what you are experiencing with the controls disappearing? What device and version of Android are you on?

I'm using a Samsung galaxy S10e, with android version 10.

If I turn off App Icon Badges, the orange badge becomes a white badge. If I turn off General Notifications, I no longer have the play/pause badge icon or the lockscreen controls.
