How does Last.fm sync work with Beyondpod?

I just tested BeyondPod again with both the official Last.FM app and the Simple Last.FM Scrobbler app. I do see the above mentioned scrobble in the Android log. I also see a "now playing" notification, but only for Simple Last.FM Scrobbler. But the track itself is not scrobbled.

I've tested with Pocket Casts again, and the Last.FM app doesn't work. The Simple Last.FM Scrobbler app does work, and it gets both a "now playing" notification and the actual scrobble.

I tested Rocket Player, a popular music playing app, and that works with both the Last.FM app and the Simple Last.FM Scrobbler.

To enable scrobbling in Pocket Casts you have to enable a setting called "Bluetooth track info", which it says "Sends track info to your Bluetooth device and enables Last.FM scrobbling".

"Publish Current Episode" is definitely enabled in BeyondPod.

I don't know what else I can provide in terms of troubleshooting information?
